2009 Broel Blend
71% CABERNET SAUVIGNON, 24% CARMÉNÈRE, 5% SANGIOVESE
This wine showcases the expressive characteristics of Carménère. The nose bursts with intermingling notes of fresh cracked pepper, dark chocolate and violets. Dark berries, plum and hints of molasses blend with white pepper, chalky tannins to create a charming and elevated experience for the palate. This charming, well-rounded blend showcases its great versatility when paired with hearty foods like lentil soup, herb-roasted lamb and Shepherd's Pie. It is also a solid compliment to strong soft cheeses like Gorgonzola or hard cheeses like Asiago. Cooperage: 25% new & 75% neutral Hungarian Oak.
