Made With Organic Grapes
Conley Vineyard's high elevation growing conditions (~1600 feet) yield berries with thicker skins that produce intensely flavored wines. The soil consists of dense rock and sand, and has a shallow hard pan with not much top soil; this combination yields mineral-driven wines. In addition to grapes, Conley is home to a substantial organic apple orchard.
Say hello to our first ever release of the flagship southern Rhone blend: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre. The nose is a brambly amalgamation of blueberries and black cherries, supported by a backbone sweet baking spice (think clove and anise). Eucalyptus and sage offer an herbal softness to this otherwise dark-fruited wine. The M of GSM adds meatiness, weight, and grip, making this one hell of a food wine. Try it with anything grilled or gamey.
