This Gamay from Northvine Vineyard reflects the cool intensity of Underwood Mountain. We used full carbonic maceration to highlight Gamay’s lifted aromatics and energy while keeping the natural structure the site provides. The result is vibrant and playful, with a subtle rustic edge that adds depth and elegance.
Electric fuchsia in the glass. Aromas of red cherry, cranberry, hibiscus, and lilac lead, followed by hints of moss, potting soil, and damp earth. The palate is bright and tart — fresh cherry juice with notes of fruit leather and a touch of bubblegum. High acidity and prickly bubbles keep it lively, while the subtle earthy character adds a refined rusticity.
