Conley Vineyard has long been a source of powerful reds for us, and this Syrah shows the site’s intensity and character. The 2023 vintage gave us concentrated fruit, which we handled simply with native fermentation and extended aging to let the vineyard speak for itself. The wine is dark and structured, with layers of dark brambly fruit, baking spice, and savory notes that feel both energetic and grounded. It’s a Syrah built for the table—bold enough for hearty dishes, yet balanced with freshness.

This wine presents a deep, brooding profile, with dark fruit at its core—marionberry, blueberry, and blackberry—layered over charred wood and subtle leather. Complex spice notes unfold with clove, mace, and white pepper, woven together by aromatic threads of eucalyptus and menthol. The palate is vibrant and energetic, driven by high acidity and a medium-plus body that carries the spice and fruit with precision. A structured yet expressive Syrah, balancing power and freshness with savory depth, drink with something hearty like roasted chicken or duck.
