This is our first single-varietal Mourvèdre, grown at Conley Vineyard where the rocky, high-elevation soils give the fruit its structure and depth. The 2023 season delivered steady warmth and healthy fruit, and we let the wine take shape naturally with native fermentation and a long rest in neutral oak. The result is a medium-bodied red that’s both savory and floral, with a rustic edge that feels rooted in the Old World but with the freshness of Washington fruit. It’s an earthy, soulful wine that’s right at home in cooler seasons.

Our Mourvèdre is a mystical and earthy red, where notes of dried flowers—lilac and lavender—interplay with savory layers of turmeric and oregano. On the palate, red plum and cherry fruit leather provide a juicy core, framed by undertones of dried herbs. Medium-bodied with dusty, well-integrated tannins, this wine strikes a compelling balance between floral elegance, savory depth, and restrained fruit. A witchy wine for soup season.
