Gamay has this great ability to be both fruit-forward and complex, and this vintage really shows that off. It’s a New World expression, but not far from what you’d expect from a good-quality French Gamay. Along with its lively energy and bright fruit, it carries a rustic character that nods back to Old World traditions. The result is a wine that feels easy to enjoy at the table—fresh, food-friendly, and true to the variety’s charm.
Pale fuchsia in the glass, our 2024 Gamay opens with an expressive aromatic profile, bursting with vibrant red fruit—cranberry, raspberry, and pomegranate—layered over a distinctly earthy, savory core, reminiscent of our favorite French Gamays. Hints of purple flowers and forest herbs lend an elegant woodland character. On the palate, it is light-bodied with high acidity, offering freshness and lift, while its subtle tannin provides structure and finesse.
