2024 continues the evolution of our White on White blend, with a further shift toward freshness and clarity. Building on the increased use of concrete in recent vintages, this year we moved entirely away from oak, aging the wine in a combination of concrete and stainless steel. Without the influence of neutral oak, the wine shows a slightly lighter texture and a more direct expression of fruit and acidity. The concrete still provides a subtle roundness, but the overall profile leans more toward brightness and precision. The result is a wine that feels energetic and highly drinkable, with an emphasis on purity and approachability.
Preserved lemon, golden apple, and Asian pear lead the nose, with oyster brine and stony minerality adding intrigue. The palate crackles with medium-plus acidity, a salty seaside energy, and ripe pineapple keeping things lively. The finish is long, saline, and impossibly crisp!
