This is our third vintage of Orange Cuvée. Our goal has been to produce an exciting, fruit-forward, subtly-textured and nuanced pétnat. The time on the skins is just enough to provide some savory bitter notes, reminiscent of Italian Amari such as Campari or Aperol, but without leaving behind any harsh tannic astringency. The Orange Cuvée has become a wine that allows us to push boundaries, sourcing fruit from multiple sites across the state, combining orange wine methods with natural bubbles. We affectionately refer to it as our fruit salad wine.

Lighter in color than last year, the 2023 Orange Cuvée still packs a punch in both aromatics and flavor. Bright, floral notes of clementine juice, white tea, orange blossom, and mint flood the palate, while its soft, teensy bubbles provide playful texture. The complexity of tasting notes here is giving more cocktail than wine, and we’re here for it: think an aperol spritz-mimosa hybrid, sipped al fresco. It’s a great wine to enjoy on its own but also pairs well with foods like chicory salads, sushi, or pretty much anything on a Brunch menu.
