Crushed and destemmed, then aged for 24 months in 500L French oak puncheons, it develops remarkable complexity while maintaining its vibrancy. Racked only once at 15 months, it preserves both structure and finesse, capturing the bold character of Red Mountain with a polished, inviting finish.
The nose is complex and savory. Think white pepper, tobacco, barnyard, and woody green olive brine, with blackberry jam pie filling emerging beneath. On the palate, this is the driest and most tannic of the spring lineup, with firm structure and a mineral backbone.
