2024 Syrah

Conley Vineyard has long been one of our favorite sources for Syrah. At approximately 1,600 feet in elevation, its rocky, sandy soils and high-elevation growing conditions produce intensely flavored fruit. The 2024 vintage brought lighter yields and beautiful quality, giving this small production wine both concentration and freshness.

 

Native fermentation and aging in a single neutral French oak puncheon keep the focus on the vineyard. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with minimal added sulfur, this release totals just 47 cases.

 

Molasses and white pepper open into marionberry, smoked bacon, dried chipotle, and black pepper, with a hint of bay leaf. Earthy and savory throughout, the wine finishes with pronounced tannins and a firm structure.
